The Roni Lee Group: Of all the groups to come out of the '70's L.A. Music Scene, The Runaways and Venus and the Razorblades were the beginning of an era! We were teenage kids driven only by our special vision of Rock & Roll! You can listen to a press conference with us in 1977 here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz55dlluQjY Born in Los Angeles and fell in love early with Rock music. My career began with singing and playing guitar on the show band circuit in Reno NV. Word came down that the legendary Kim Fowley was putting 'teen girl bands' together back in L.A., so with a silver lamé jumpsuit given to me by my pal Rick Deringer, and a Flying V guitar (courtesy of casino money), I headed back to California. There, with my amp cranked and playing my heart out (as instructed by Kim Fowley)... I was hired for Venus and the Razorblades and so it began. We went to work that day writing, recording and playing our Rock & Roll! The Runaways and Venus and the Razorblaeds both recorded my song I Wanna Be Where the Boys are as well as being featured in the recent movie titled: The Runaways. Living the dream with the likes of Van Halen, Ramones and others at the Whiskey and throughout L.A.'s music scene, my passion for music was forever sealed. Today, The Roni Lee Group brings you the best of my Original Tunes mixed with well-chosen covers from my favorite bands and players. Our audience is never disappointed!

The Sickstring Outlaws: The Sickstring Outlaws are an outlaw/bluegrass country band whose main goal is to show people a good time. The San Diego based band have had the good fortune through hard work to open for the likes of David Allan Coe, The Marshall Tucker Band and Merle Jagger as well as many local acts such as the popular tribute band Cash'd Out, Married by Elvis, Three Bad Jacks and many more. They have performed at many venues such as Brick by Brick, Adams Street Fair, Del Mar Fair, The knitting Factory in Hollywood, The Ramona Mainstage (sold out show w/ David Allan Coe), Winstons, Dream Street Live and Gallaghers to name just a few. The Sickstring Outlaws have taken the hard road by playing original songs, staying true to what they believe in and working hard to keep outlaw country music alive. By sheer determination, they are starting to gain a large and strong fan base everywhere they play. If you happen to catch their live show...you will not be disappointed. Nina Garin, writer for the San Diego Union Tribune, quoted in her column..."This band is clearly influenced by Hank Williams Jr., Merle Haggard and other Classic country stars, but the music is still super-fun and has a tough sound all its own." - Nina Garin
